God’s great thoughts are all over the Bible. And His thoughts toward us are good. His plans for us are for good, and not for evil. God’s ways are higher than our ways. His thoughts are higher than our thoughts. Do you know somebody who hates themselves? Or do you hate yourself? Even that one, God loves them passionately. God is love, in Him is no darkness at all.
His love is higher than any kind of love (It is godly love)
It’s higher than romantic love
And higher than friendship love
or love between family members
His is the highest form of love. It is pure, selfless and unconditional love. It is not feeling love, 1 John 4:8. God, Himself is love. Love is who He is. He loves passionately, is merciful, forgiving, patient, and kind. Also, God is not selfish. When He asks us to love Him, it’s not for Him but for us. Because when we love Him with our whole heart, we will shun evil. Then there are things we do against each other, in remedy to those He says, forgive one another. Love one another. When you love someone with godly love, you won’t want to do badly against them.
God’s great thoughts, When people hurt you
Love does not mean we let people walk all over us. We can tell them to stop it and still love them. If they continue abusing us, we can step away for our safety. But the love of God can continue. If we allow God to work on our hearts, it’s possible, though not easy. For our own good, God wants us to forgive. And forgiveness is a decision to let go.
Sometime back, there were people I thought they had my back, but they hurt me. In my opinion, I thought they dropped me like a hot potato when I needed them most. I cried, did shout, avoided them but eventually, God worked on me. For me, that was a ‘miracle’. After that God poured Himself in me, in a way I never imagined. God is good!
God’s great thoughts-Even when things are tough
When people mess us up. We know if we take it to God. God can turn the bad things that have happened in our lives for our good. According to His purpose. Generally, His purpose for us is for our lives to glorify Him. I struggled during puberty with body changes. My mother had passed away when I was 12. Today, I am able to understand girls in the same situation.puberty-years-struggles
