Seeking God rewards, therefore, you won’t come back empty
…….Whoever comes to God
and that He rewards those that diligently seek Him
- God rewards those that seek Him, diligently/Earnestly
Seeking God that rewards. What is it?
It is willing do what the word says. By doing it. Abiding by it Even though naturally speaking it does not make sense.
Like Abram God asked him to leave his people, his country, his family
To go to a land that God would show him.
Abram did just that, and God established a contract/covenant/agreement with him.
God asked him to offer his son, Isaac, as an offering. Although God had promised that through Isaac, all the nations of the earth will benefit. The generations were: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob till Joseph the father of Jesus. And from Jesus, all nations are beneficiaries of salvation. For Abraham, it was just a test. Because God provided a Ram, but To Abraham, he received a reward(blessing)
God wants to fellowship with us
In the garden of Eden, God comes to fellowship with Adam and Eve, in the evening. John 15:5 New Living Translation Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches: Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”
Our fruitfulness is in abiding in Jesus, for without Him we can do nothing. Neither can we produce anything../gods-nature/
What is abiding In Jesus?
It is staying connected to Him. Just as the branch of a vine, is connected to the trunk of the tree. Each one of us believers needs to stay connected to the trunk of the vine(Jesus). In doing that, we get our sustenance from Him
How do we abide?
- By reading the Word of God
- praising God
- and Worshiping
- plus fellowship with other brethren in the faith, for encouragement
Seeking God rewards, for God rewards those that diligently seek Him
Genesis 22:17 I will certainly bless you. And make your descendants as many as the stars in the sky and grains of the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of their enemies’ cities.
What a reward, for seeking God with a whole heart
