I know everybody has their lane.
Some encourage, some rebuke, some make us laugh.
You have called me, for that one thing.
When you call, you give ability.
I am encompassed, with those other ideas,
Help me, to stay in my lane.
Help me, to know the times.
Time to sprint, time to walk, time to rest.
I don’t want to run aimlessly,
I want to win, the crown that lasts.
Lord, help me, to stay in my lane.
A contender does not receive the crown,
Unless they compete, according to the rules.
Help me, to contend by the rules.
Help me to contend, in my lane.
