We don’t see eye to eye

I’m not a fan of deadlines

their headlines

for emphasis

Tick, tick, tock the clock goes

slowly with no  empathy.

As a bride walking down the isle.

Was just think, ‘how did this word start anywhere? It has uneasy connotations, deadline

Checked out the English Oxford English Dictionary and Aha, here is the meaning

A line drawn around a prison beyond which prisoners were liable to be shot.

It is said prison guards would watch prisoners, from sentry boxes perched atop the stockade

That’s  makes sense, that’s why I never liked the word

like what line is dead really?

Hence I ask the Lord to teach me to number my days.

For time is moving

It ain’t waiting for anyone, as they say.

I don’t want to waste time

And I don’t want to be ‘shot’

for I want to use time wisely.

Also I want to recognize opportunities when they knock at my door

And make hay while the sun still shines. Even the Lord Jesus said, “I  must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”  John  9:4

About mavischuma@aol.com

I love Jesus. I love life. I love people. My life is hid in Christ in God. I belong to God & am seated in heavenly places with Jesus Christ. As Jesus is in heaven so am I in the world. So I am more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. I am a winner.
